Mohd Amirulhadi Zainal (56th) and Liew Kit Kong (81st) scored to consolidate the Red Gian ts’ lead at the top of the 14-team standings at 44 points - six ahead of second-placed Kelantan.

Selangor started without three key players and manager K. Devan who were serving out suspensions.
The absence of their chief striker Mohd Safee Sali, midfielder Mohd Hardi Jaafar and defender Razman Roslan was sorely felt as the Red Giants struggled against the Highwaymen as they were kept scoreless in the first-half.
Skipper Mohd Amri Yahyah had the best chance of the half to put the home team in front but he squandered a golden opportunity after latching onto a through ball and shot straight into the arms of the onrushing KL Plus goalkeeper Razi Effandi in the 44th minute.
Selangor made heavy weather of the match as they were unable to find the break until Mohd Amirulhadi capitalised on a defensive error to put them ahead in the 56th minute.
Then, Kit Kong wrapped up the three points with the second goal in the 81st minute.
In Kota Baru, Kelantan extended their unbeaten run to 12 matches when they defeated Perlis 2-1 at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium. (SEE VIDEO)

In Paroi, FA Cup champions Negri Sembilan’s miserable form continued when they suffered yet another home defeat going down to Kuala Lumpur 1-2. (SEE VIDEO)
Negri, who have lost five times in their last seven matches, trailed by an Azidan Sarudin goal in the 15th minute before Mohd Shukor Adan equalised for Negri in the 39th minute.
