DAMIAN MARTINEZ

Highly-rated Argentine Damian proved a safe pair of hands between the posts for Neil Banfield’s reserves last season.

The athletic goalkeeper played 13 times for the second string to build on a solid debut campaign after his arrival from Independiente in August 2010.

Damian was rewarded for his consistency with first-team squad call-ups against Shrewsbury and Leeds, although he did not feature in either match.

An Argentina youth international, Damian has also been called up to the full national team squad but is yet to win his first senior cap.
